Designed by the award-winning architect Snorre Stinessen, Cabane Tortin has been built with sustainability in mind. To practice minimal environmental impact, solar panels and a pellet-fuelled burner provide energy efficiency; water is harvested from a natural spring high in the rock face above; extensive use of glass captures natural light and warmth; and locally sourced stone and timber the cabane blend seamlessly into the natural surroundings offering a green a responsible mountain retreat.
Sleeping for up to 8-people; the cabane has three elegantly designed double bedrooms on the main floor and a further double or twin bedroom on the upper floor.
The finest cuisine will be prepared by your private chef and the expert hosts will attend to your every need. Whether it's another glass of champagne, a BBQ on the terrace, a massage or facial after a day of skiing, or just planning a day trip to Verbier for lunch and shopping. The hosts are there to ensure you have everything you need, when you need it. If the stunning sunsets aren't enough, you can unwind in the cabane’s sauna, soothe your ski legs after a long day, or cosy up with your favourite book in front of the log fire.
The highly qualified and expert mountain guides will always ensure your safety and enjoyment. They will plan the day’s skiing activities and make sure you have access to hidden powder fields and the best places to have lunch across the vast 4-Vallées ski area. We can also organise private ski instructors to heli-skiing; husky-dog sledding to tandem paraglider flights, snowshoeing to ski-touring; and everything in-between to ensure your stay is lasting and memorable.
